@xaviqaz The USA is trying to escape from a corporate/insurance indu$try health care-Less $ystem…
the crap that we wound up with makes sure that another quarter of a million americans will die because we still will not have adequate health care single payer was stripped and all we wound up with is more money for insurance companies and my prediction is that right before midterms insurance companies will raise rates and the elections will shift back to republicans and barack will be ineffective the rest of his term
@travelfar22 Even many european countries are trying to escape from single payer
this ed is the biggest fuck stick I have ever seen
Our government is playing the American people for fools…. THERE is no reason to leave the insurance companies in power like this… They’ve been abusing the American people for years now and there the PROBLEM not the solution…. Dennis Kucinich is spot on…. Great man there…
Kucinich for President!! Down with insurance companies stealing our money over and over again >:O
The people have been sold out by our two-branch single party system, the Republedems. Corporate power owns them both and uses their bought politicians to make believe there is some sort of democracy taking place where there is none. They play to their particular elements in society yet always serve the corporate agenda with only a few exceptions like Kucinich.
The parties are corrupt, we’ve been sold out. They know single payer works yet they will only serve the wealthy. Past time to revolt.
The funniest thing about this all is that Democrat are CHEERING and HOLLERING over the fact that a ‘public option’ will pass.
But like Kucinich says, it will actually reward insurance companies. So what exactly are we getting in this Bill, a Health Care system that might end up making us all broke?
But then Kucinich also expects businesses to pay a 7.7% tax rate to help fund his Single Payer idea, which is yet more taxation.
Does anyone have a real solution? Because someone is going to lose.
I’m so glad my fellow liberals voted for the inspiring “electable” candidate instead of a true progressive like Kucinich. God forbid we actually try to elect someone with integrity.
If this is the best the Democratic Party can offer up anymore is Clintons and Obama, us liberals need to seriously consider third parties. Take a note from the teabaggers, the establishment has been bought off.
when the insurance companies control politicians who can ammend bills, a bill which starts out helping people can morph and change into a bill screwing people
its sick
Come to Washington on November 5th, join Michelle Bachman and tell your Representative to keep their hands off your health care!
If you can’t make it to Washington, go to your Member’s district office. And, if you can’t do that, you need to call and email. We can defeat this!
The Time: 12:00 PM
The Place: The steps of the US Capitol
The Reason: Stop the insanity from spreading any further!
obama is polished, articulate but an idiot.
I disagree. “…general welfare of the United States…” is part of the text of Section 8. It can be interpreted to mean Healthcare. Other nations think that way. The primary purpose of our federal government is for our “common defense”, so safety. Healthcare fits into that category. At least in my opinion. Yes, I know that the “…general welfare of the United States.” clause was probably intended to mean the general welfare of each individual state (i.e. State Gov.). I’m a Progressive.
lame duck pres - I already said that three month ago and since so many say the same thing now it seems to be soon the feeling of the streets!
good luck dennis, you neeed it!
and amurikkka needs you as pres 2012 (yeah I keep on dreaming on)
We need to get that worthless pussy Obama out of office! He’s literally a lameduck president.
The biggest defect the bill has is that it violates the Constitution, Article 1, section 8 does not allow for our gov. to control our Health Care!
aww, isn’t that cute, its trying to insult me.
i didn’t realize disagreeing with obama’s position on health care reform meant you worshiped him…
oh wait, you’re just an idiot.
I work for United Healthcare and I would like to thank the Republic Party for favoring our current Health Insurance system. I can tell you under this new Bill your health insurance will increase only 17% per year on above rather than 21% per year you the consumer will save 4% per year. Over 10 years that is only a 170% Health care increase for Americans rather than 210%. You the consumer save 40% over ten years.
pathetic. One more reason to just oust the whole of congress and put in people <30. Fuck the geezers they can’t figure out what we NEED.
Too busy wiping their butt with cash they get by the monopolies in the USA…
“confiscatory” adj.
1. Seized by a government; appropriated.
2. Having lost property through confiscation.
[Latin c?nfisc?re, c?nfisc?t : com-, com- + fiscus, treasury.]
Amen to that. Wish both of them ran together lol. People please stop picking one side and sticking with it we need a mix of sides to keep each other in check.
Don’t let Pelosi kill the Kucinich State Single Payer Amendment.
Kucinich in 2012!
Americans are crazy if they let Congress act like that. We all know the values where the “insurance companies” stand. Isn’t this like putting a “know child-molestor” with a “child” inside a room and then closing the door? WTF!!! Are the people stupid?
lol nazi worshipers on youtube.
