Sicko Part 4
A film about how our own government is screwing us over when it comes to public services, specifically when it comes to health care. If they can find money for perpetual war, they can find (our) money for services for us. It also shows how nationalized medicine does NOT equate to socialism, and how the health of our nation would improve through nationalized medicine.

Very sad documentary but the real question that people should be asking is why are so many people getting sick. It wasnt always like this. Major diseases are on the increase , nutrient content of fresh fruit and veg is on the way down . The best health care you can get is by using your own inquisitive mind and realizing that there is no money to be made from health and self sufficiency. I am not trying to be insensitive to anyone who is sick , I have been through it too.
What a bitch that Hilary Clinton was! Trying to give all Americans universal health care regaurdless of income, trying to make sure no one would be denied coverage based on previous conditions. The nerve of her! (if you can’t tell I’m being SARCASTIC) God I long for the days of the Clinton administration.

@vaxetihirr It’s not our whole country.. it’s just the fact that corporations have more power over policies than our government does. Luckily the Obama administration made it illegal for insurance companies to deny people for previous conditions, which in turn is likely to lead us to socialized medical care because the way the insurance companies are set up (for PROFIT) will not last long under this and they will need the government to intervene.

Do you ever see those little buckets next to the cashier at a convenience store with a photo of a man/woman/child or family, asking for a donation?? These are the people who fall thru the cracks. I’ve spoken with Dr. Peeno quite a few times on the phone when I was an account manager years ago. She’s one of the nicest people I ever dealt with on the job, most were assholes. Very happy to see her in this film.
